; NODES SETUP
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 440 Nodes: Address
!NOINDEX

Here you specify the address of the node you want to setup things for.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 441 Nodes: Pointnet
!NOINDEX

Here you specify the Pointnet of this node, to be able to identify 3D points
from this node.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 442 Nodes: Phone number
!NOINDEX

Here you may specify an alternate phone number, for this node. This option is
especially useful, if the node's phone number has changed, or the node is NOT
in the nodelist.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 443 Nodes: Packer
!NOINDEX

Here you may specify which of the packers, you want to use, to pack mail
or tick files for this node. Use [+] and '-' to select, press [Return] when
done.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 444 Level
!NOINDEX

Here you may specify the security level, for this node, used among other
thing in connection with the PortalFix options for automatic File forward &
Message area adding/deleting.

;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 445 Nodes: Keys
!NOINDEX

Here you may specify the security keys, for this node, used among other things
in connection with the PortalFix options for automatic File forward & Message
area adding/deleting.

The keys are far more important than the Level, of the node, since, even if
the node has a security level of 255, he CANNOT access files/areas, that have
a key, that he does not.

See also: 444Level
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 446 Nodes: Session password
!NOINDEX

This password is used for security when exchanging mail or files, to ensure
that the node actually is the one, that it is supposed to be.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 447 Nodes: PortalFix password
!NOINDEX

This is the password this node must use when writing to PortalFix.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 448 Nodes: Packet password
!NOINDEX

This password is used in mail packets.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 449 Nodes: Tick password
!NOINDEX

This entry specifies the password to be used in the Tick-files, that will be
sent to or from this node.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 450 Nodes: Special dial 0-2
!NOINDEX

A special dial string, is used as a dial command, for this node. This may come
in handy, if you have some kind of High Speed modem, that can not normally
connect with the receiver, at the optimum speed. If no dial string is supplied
here, the default is used.

;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 451 Nodes: Send flavor
!NOINDEX

The send flavor specifies, what the flavor of any file forwards & ticks
should be. Legal values are:

  I = Important
  C = Crash
  D = Direct
  N = Normal
  H = Hold

If you specify anything else, Hold is assumed.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 452 Nodes: Send fwd letter
!NOINDEX

You may select here, if this node should get a letter, when we have forwarded
some files to him.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 453 Nodes: Check connect
!NOINDEX

You may select here if Portal should check the optimum baud rate, when calling
out to this node.

  'Y' = check the node against the speed listed in the
        nodelist.
  'N' = do NOT check the speed.
  ' ' = use the default value of
        130StdModem: Check connect.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 454 Nodes: Use Fake
!NOINDEX

If you are a point, and have entered your real address under
101Matrix: Node number and your pointnet under 104Matrix: Point net,
this options lets you deside with wich type of address you call out to this
node with:

  ' '= the global 105Matrix: Use Fake option will be
       used.
 'Y' = the fake address (Zone:PointNet/Point.0) will be
       used,
 'N' = the 4D (Zone:BossNet/BossNode.Point) will be used.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 455 Nodes: Disallow F.Req.
!NOINDEX

If you set this option to 'Y' the node will not be able to request from your
system. Use it with care.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 456 Nodes: Use FullDuplex
!NOINDEX

This option controls the selection of FullDuplex transfer-methods, for this
node. It may have one of 4 values:

 'Y' = use BiMail or Janus, if they are setup by remote
       (and us).
 'N' = don't use full duplex transfers at ALL!
 'J' = use Janus only, if possible.
 'B' use BiModem only, if possible.
 ' ' = use what ever is setup globally.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 457 Nodes: Use EMSI
!NOINDEX

This option specifies, if you want to use EMSI, when connected to this node.

Valid options are:

 'Y' = use EMSI, regardless of the global setup.
 'N' = don't use EMSI, regardless of the global setup.
 ' ' = follow the global setup.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 458 Nodes: Pack Tick files
!NOINDEX

This option specifies, whether you want to compress the .TIC-files, instead of
sending them one at a time. The packer used, is the one specified in
443Packer.

If set to 'Y', Portal will create an archive called a combination of net and
nodenumber in hex, and the extension .PTF (Packed Tick File).
Here is an example of a PTF-file name, for node 231/12:
  00E7000C.PTF
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 459 Nodes: BBS opening hours
!NOINDEX

If anything else than 00:00 to 00:00 is specified here, Portal will not try to
call this system, until the current time is between the two times, or we are
in 212ConSetup: Zone Mail Hour.

NOTE: This option will NOT be used, if the node is listed as a Crash mail
system in the nodelist.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 780 Nodes: Sync. time
!NOINDEX

If set to yes, Portal will use the Tranx value from an EMSI session to set
the time of your computer.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 781 Nodes: Min baud
!NOINDEX

If the system is configured to check connects (see 453Nodes: Check connect)
you can ues this field to enter the minimum baudrate to accept. If this entry
is 0 - the minimum baudrate will be taken from the nodelist.
