; NODELIST COMPILER SEGMENT SETUP
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 340 Nodelist name
!NOINDEX

This field should contain the name of the nodelist, for which this entry is
defined. It must contain a filename ONLY, no path, extension, or trailing '.'.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 341 Nodediff name
!NOINDEX

This field should contain the name of the update file for this nodelist. It
must contain a filename ONLY, no path, extension, or trailing '.'. If it is
left blank, no nodelist updates are processed for this segment.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 342 Check CRC
!NOINDEX

Determines wether you want the nodelist compiler to check the CRC of the
updated nodelist. If current entry is for your own private list, or a point
list, you probably will have to set this option to 'N'. If the
341Nodediff name field is empty, this option has no effect.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 343 New packed NL path
!NOINDEX

If you want to pack a new updated nodelist, you must specify the path here.
The archive will be named using the 340Nodelist name, and the extension
will be the number of the nodelist, expanded to 2 characters, with leading
zero, and prefixed by an 'A'-character. The archive is created using the add
command for ARC, in the archiver setup. This is an example of a common setup:

  Nodelist name  : NODELIST
  Nodediff name  : NODEDIFF
  New packed NL  : C:\FREE\

After processing NODEDIFF.174, a new archive called NODELIST.A74 is created,
using ARC, and placed in the directory C:\FREE. If the 341Nodediff name
field is empty, this option has no effect.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 344 Include nodes
!NOINDEX

If you do not want do include all nodes in the nodelist, you can specify the
zone, nets or nodes you want included here.

All entries MUST be <zone>:<net>/<node>

Here are some examples of the syntax:

  2:231/ALL 1:123/7 105:ALL/ALL

;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 345 Exclude nodes
!NOINDEX

Here you can specify which zone, net or nodes you don't want in your nodelist.

All entries MUST be <zone>:<net>/<node>

Here are some examples of the syntax:

2:230/ALL 2:234/ALL 1:ALL/ALL

See also: 344Include nodes
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 346 Default zone
!NOINDEX

Here you enter the zone number to use, if no zone line is present in this
nodelist segment.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 347 New packed NL desc.
!NOINDEX

Description to insert into FILES.BBS for the new packed nodelist. Only used
if 343New packed NL path is not blank.
;
;===========================================================
; NODELIST COMPILER TRANSLATION TABLE
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 360 Original
!NOINDEX

This is the start of the phone number, you want the nodelist compiler to
replace with the number in 361New, to deal with any numbers requiring some
special prefix numbers.

An example of a translation table usable for Denmark is as follows:

 Original            New
 -----------------------------------------
 45-

Note that the 'New' field is left empty, and thereby, actually stripping the
country code from the number.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 361 New
!NOINDEX

Here you may enter the prefix, you want to be inserted in the phone numbers
matching the number entered in 360Original.
;
;===========================================================
; NODELIST COMPILER MISC OPTIONS
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 380 Costfile name
!NOINDEX

The nodelist contains a field, specifying the cost/minute to each BBS in the
list. This field should point to a file of the following format:

 GENERAL 2000
 COST 200
 45-
 COST 10
 1-555-

The first entry, is the default, for any prefixes, which is NOT in this list.
The keyword COST specifies a group of dial prefixes, which have this cost.
In the above example, all danish numbers (45-????????) is assigned a cost of
200, all American numbers in the 555 area (1-555-???-????) is assigned a cost
of 10, and all others is assigned a cost of 2000. 2000 What?? well cents, or
whatever may apply in your country.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 381 Our dial prefix
!NOINDEX

Here you must enter the phone number prefix, for your country (1- for USA) and
(45- for Denmark), to enable the nodelist compiler to know international
numbers, from domestic numbers.

All other numbers will be prefixed by the 382Int. dial prefix.

Special number translation may be done, using the Phone Translation Table.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 382 Int. dial Prefix
!NOINDEX

Here you must enter the phone number prefix, for calling internationally FROM
your country.

All numbers, other than domestic numbers will be prefixed with the
international prefix. The way to distinguish between domestic and
international numbers, is to specify 381Our dial prefix.

Special number translation may be done, using the Phone Translation Table.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 383 Use FIDOUSER.LST
!NOINDEX

The FIDOUSER.LST is a list of SysOp names, and adresses, that a lot of
utilities, including PORTAL, uses to look up a FidoNet address from a name, or
name from a FidoNet address.
;
;-----------------------------------------------------------
!TOPIC 384 Modem type #1-8
!NOINDEX

Here you enter the modem types (found at the bottom of the raw nodelist) that
you want to be able to give a special dial string, baudrate or don't want to
call (configured under Advanced modem setup).
