This field contains the start time of the current event. The format of this
entry is HH:MM, in 24hr-format. As you may have noted, there is no End Time,
this is because an Event runs until another event starts.

If both Call frequency AND Max. delay is set to ZERO, the default times set in
Connection setup, are used instead.

mail-sessions with any system, otherwise the specified node is the only one
that Portal will complete a mail-session with.
This option has NO EFFECT if it is used within 212ConSetup: Zone Mail Hour,
or no Zone Mail Hour has been defined!

Here you may specify which days the event is to be used.

The letters on the above line, corresponds to the first letter in the 7 days,
and the 'A' on the right-most rank is the "Active flag". If the event is ment
to run on Monday, Wednesday & Friday, The mask would look like this:

The last 'Y' means active.

This field is used to select a special dial string for a nodes in just this
event. This can be used to force a HST DS modem to connect in HST mode against
a specific node.

With this field you may specify which schedule Portal should use/run during
this event.

This field specifies the maximum cost, that the system will allow for a single
call. The time of the call will be calculated from the amount of mail to be
sent, and the maximum speed that both your system and the receiving system can
support. The cost will be calculated as the time in minutes (rounded up) times
the cost of the receiver, which is found in the nodelist.

If it is set to zero, the field is ignored.

With this field you may specify how much mail (bytes of the mail packets)
there must be for a node, before a call is made.

!NOINDEX

Flags are used to describe the operation of this event.

Defined flags are:

  Forced          If this flag is on the event will start
                  on time. If it is off, the event will
                  start, but may be overrun by a user.

  Request Ok.     Other systems may request files from
                  your system, during this event.

  Users/Mail      This flag tells if we allow users and
                  mailers, or only mailers.

  Receive-only    No systems are called, except those who
                  have something waiting, with a status of
                  Important.

  CM-only         This flag causes Portal to call systems,
                  who have something waiting, with a
                  status of Crash or Important.

  No-Send         No files will be sent from your system,
                  but polls may still be made depending on
                  the other flags used.

  Dynamic         This type of event may be terminated in
                  one of two ways.
                    1) If no more mail is left to send
                    2) Another event takes over.

  Clear Outbound  Clear all undialables at start of event.

  No answer       Don't answer the phone during this
                  event.

  Once only       Event will be disabled when it has
                  executed.

  PoP-List        Generate filelist at start of this
                  event.
  Toss mail       Not used yet

  Scan new mail   Not used yet

  Pack mail       Not used yet

  Don't send fls  If set to yes, any files that is not
                  located in your outbound directory,
                  will not be sent.
