0.25   IGM Configuration Conversion:  ** IMPORTANT **
=======================================================
    IGM Configuration Update: Jan. 11, 2006.

    -- This igm is now using KITBANK2.DAT with a different
    configuration structure. Use KITBANK CONVERT command
    to convert your KITBANK.DAT to KITBANK2.DAT.

    Do these steps if you are updating from KITBANK.EXE v1.30:
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    1) Follow the instructions listed farther down in this file
       to convert the v1.30 Player Database into the current
       Player Database structure. This is MANDATORY if you wish
       to protect Gold/Gems bank balances from prior IGM usage.

    Brief summary: You use the CONVBANK.EXE utility to convert
    a v1.30 player database into the currently used Player
    Database structure. It only works with a KB13PLAY.DAT file,
    which it changes into a new BANKPLAY.DAT file. It is inside
    the beta distribution archive BANKWORK.ZIP.

    2) Unzip all files from BANKWORK.ZIP into your KITBANK IGM
       directory, using overwrite mode. Run KITBANK CONVERT
       command. It will read your old KitBank.dat file and
       create a new KITBANK2.DAT file.
    =========================================================

    Two config values, not yet put into actual usage, were
    added to the IGM Configuration structure on July 11, 2005,
    for use in limiting daily usage of Gold/Gems Transfers.

    Directions for IGM users since Oct. 13, 2005:
    =============================================
    1. Unzip contents of BankWork.zip -- which you need to get from
       me via Email -- into your IGM directory, using overwrite mode.

    2. Run KITBANK CONVERT command. It will convert KITBANK.DAT
       into the KITBANK2.DAT file, display the new file's
       configuration settings, and then exit.

       BankConv.exe has been taken out of usage as of 01/23/2006
       now that the Conversion process is built into KITBANK.EXE.

    All users of the IGM can resume normal use of the program
    in LORD game sessions at this point.

    End of Jan. 12, 2006 docs update section. Revised 01/24/06.

=========================================

IGM Utility: Kiteria's Lord Bank Player Editor

    Version 1.00. Officially released on Aug. 30, 2005.
    Usage: v1.00 is ONLY for use with Kiteria's Lord Bank v1.30.

  KLBEDIT Usage Notes:
  =======================================
  1) Obtain current copy of beta program from me via email.
     It will be distributed inside klb-edit.zip beta archive.

  2) Unzip all files from KLB-EDIT.ZIP into your IGM directory,
     using overwrite mode so you get the newest files.

  3) Change into the KL Bank IGM directory. Verify you have
     a current BANKPLAY.DAT file. If you don't, then you can't
     use KLBEDIT.EXE.

  =========================================================
  Updating from KLBank v1.30 to current Beta:

  If you have just started using the new betas, use the
  CONVBANK.EXE utility to translate your old v1.30 bankplay.dat
  database file to use the player database structure now in use.

  See CONVBANK.TXT file for further details, or the CONVBANK
  docs section in the KITBANK.TXT file for full instructions.

  ** DO NOT use KLBEDIT v1.02+ betas on your bankplay.dat file
  until you have it converted using the CONVBANK.EXE program,
  or until you have created a new Bankplay.dat from scratch
  using KLBank v1.32+ Betas. **
  =========================================================

  4) The first time you run the utility, it will ask you for
     the path to the KL Bank IGM directory. Type it in, and
     press ENTER to exit the dialog box prompt. KLBEDIT.CFG
     file will be created in that directory.

  5) Run KLBEDIT.EXE. If a config file is not in the directory
     you run it from, it will ask you to create on - as noted
     above. If config file is found, it then checks for existence
     of BANKPLAY.DAT file. If one is not found, program will
     give error message and quit working.

     KLBEDIT has only one screen of data. It shows database
     fields in the order they are listed in the player database
     record structure (usually). Each value, with one exception,
     may be set to any value that is valid for it.

     The Lord Player Number field is display-only. That is because
     I don't see any valid reason to allow users to fiddle around
     the LORD Player Number field.

  6) When you exit KLBEDIT, it will resave the BANKPLAY.DAT
     file so that any changes you made will be accessible to
     the IGM. End of Notes for KLBEDIT usage.

==============================================================

0.75 CONVBANK.EXE Notes:   {Added 10-29-2005}

Program was created for me by Stephen Gibbs in early October 2005.
Renamed from CVTKBANK.EXE to CONVBANK.EXE 10/29/05.
=======================================================

Usage: It converts a bankplay.dat, which has to be named
"KB13PLAY.DAT", from KLBank version 1.30 into a new bankplay.dat
file that is fully usable with KLBank version 1.38+ Beta.

If you have already used KLBank's October 2005 betas, then you
do NOT need to use CONVBANK.EXE, unless you just want to see
how it works.

Instructions. This assumes you are using KLBank v1.30.

1) Copy the CONVBANK.EXE and CONVBANK.TXT files into your
Kiteria's Lord Bank game directory.

2) Run Kiteria's Lord Bank v1.30. Do anything you wish to
do inside, and then exit the program. Then exit LORD as well.

3) Change to KLBank directory. Print copy of bank-use.txt file
just to be sure you don't lose track of igm users' bank Gold
and Gems balances. Copy your bankplay.dat to KB13PLAY.DAT.

4) Using Bankwork.zip obtained from me via email, unzip its
files using overwrite mode on top of your existing KLBank v1.30
program files.

5) Run this command from the DOS prompt: CONVBANK

It will read the KB13PLAY.DAT binary database file. It reports
the number of database records it converts, along with showing
the LORD Names of each igm user. Then it terminates. Entire
process takes a couple of minutes or less.

6) Run KLBEDIT.exe player database editor, version 1.05 Beta,
which is inside BANKWORK.ZIP archive. Verify that all of your
igm database records are valid amounts, using the printout
of bank-use.txt as reference (from step #3). Once you know
all of the records contain valid data, exit KLBEDIT.

7) Conversion process is completed. When you run KITBANK.EXE
from LORD the next time, you will be fully updated to the
current beta - with one exception. There are two additional
variables added to the igm's configuration file, covering
Gold Transfers/Day limit and Gems Transfers/Day Limit. So
run this command now: KITBANK CONFIG

Follow the instructions and indicate Sysop Handle, Max Visits
per Day, Gold Transfers/Day and Gems Transfers/Day. When
finished, exit from KITBANK CONFIG process automatically occurs.

END of CONVBANK.TXT notes.

1.0  DISCLAIMER:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

This is a BBS game written as a hobby. The only warranty given is
that the program will take up a small amount of disk space on your
computer's hard drive, and will run under all versions of Legend of
the Red Dragon that support IGMs.
==============================================================

LORD/32 programs Status:  January 24, 2006:
                   ---------------------------------------
1) LPEDIT/32 - In BBS testing since July 2005. Requires usage
   of DOOR.SYS if run as a BBS door program. Tested by Jay
   Hodges on his Synchronet-based BBS. Contact me via email
   if you want to try it out.

2) LordStat - v1.7a+ betas may be used with LORD/32 Beta. It is
   still a 16-bit DOS Lord utility. But it does work with
   Lord/32 beta, so you are permitted to use it that way as well.

3) Lord/32 IGM versions of my IGMs: None are currently available
   which I am able to provide support for. Chris Martino was
   doing the 32-bit versions of Kiteria's Lord Bank, The Nice
   Hag, Lord Gambling Casino, Ruined Castle, and Love Shack II
   for me in April 2005. Then he disappeared without ever sending
   me any 32-bit source code for any of my programs.

   Therefore until I can write new 32-bit igms code, or have another
   author help with me it, I can NOT do support of any of those
   32-bit IGM betas.

4) As of January 2006, Lord/X beta does NOT run IGMs. I do not
   use Linux. I am therefore unable to provide support for ANY
   of my programs if you use them on a Linux computer/BBS.

5) I am supporting the LORD/32 IGM, FreeWorld II, which was created
   by Chris Martino. I adopted it in early August 2005. Currently,
   it is the only Lord/32 igm I have in production. {Added #5 entry 10/14/05)

============================================================

2.0  INTRODUCTION:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
  These are the goals for this IGM - most of which have been fulfilled.

  1) Provide LORD Players with an IGM, which is fully supported by
  an active LORD author, that protects the integrity of their bank
  accounts on a daily basis. DONE.

  * No one under any circumstance can steal another player's gold
  or gems. Killing the Red Dragon will not affect your IGM accounts
  like it does in LORD.

  * The player receives 10% interest on their Bank Gold on days
  when they actually use the igm. No igm usage during a day means
  that you do NOT get any interest. There is NO interest on Gems
  that you keep in the IGM Gems Bank.

  * The IGM does not allow Gems in Bank to exceed 1 Million Gems.
  I seriously doubt any user will ever get anywhere close to that
  amount. Gems Deposits and Gems Withdrawals are also subject to
  the 1 Million gems limit.

  Users are allowed to withdraw up to 32,500 Gems per IGM session,
  since LORD tolerates that amount in normal game play. However,
  during LORD maintenance, any LORD stat that exceeds 32,00 will
  be reduced to 32,000 by LORD automatically.
  ================================================================

  ** 02/23/2005: Prevent users from having their Gold in IGM Bank
  balance go negative if they try to make a deposit that is too
  large. Pascal programs can't handle amounts in excess of
  2,147,483,647, so when a large deposit plus the old Bank balance
  exceeded that amount, it caused the Gold Bank balance to go negative.

  IGM has been recompiled with new code to reject such deposits.
  ==============================================================

  ** 10/13/2005: Resumed full-time development of IGM, and of KLBEDIT.EXE
  utility. Both KitBank.exe and KLBEdit.exe are now using the same
  Player Database, Revised 09-01-2005, which features new variables
  designed for tracking LORD and IGM stats changes made via Flirting
  event, Gems Transfers, and Gold Transfers.

  Gems/Gold Transfers: Enabled on 10-13-2005. Limits are as follows.

  (1) IGM is currently limiting Gems Transfers to 0-50 range per day.
  Likewise, Gold Transfers are limited to 0-50 range per day.

  **** Use KITBANK CONFIG command to update your kitbank.dat so you have
  the two new lines that cover Gems/Gold Transfers usage. *****

  (2) Transfer Session Limits: You may only transfer up to 32,000 Gems at
  a time, and you may only transfer a maximum of 100 Million Gold at a time.

  Currently actual IGM usage of the Daily Transfer Limits is not coded,
  so there is NO limitation right now on usage of Transfers, other than
  that you can't transfer anything if either Gems in Bank or Gold in IGM
  Bank have Zero balances.

  (3) You can NOT transfer GOLD or GEMS to a player if they are online
  in LORD or in another IGM. This is intended to prevent conflicts where
  one IGM updates a player's record and the other IGM would not know about
  those changes.

  (4) Daily Transfer Limits: Gems Transfers per day is limited to 100,000
  Gems. Gold Transfers per day is limited to 500 Million Gold.

  (5) Withdrawals Limits: At suggestion of Daryl Stout, I have enabled
  two changes to Gold Withdrawal from IGM Gold Bank. (A) If you use 1
  for amount to withdraw, IGM asks if you want ALL of your Bank Gold or
  just ONE Gold Coin. Both events are fully tested, as of 10-14-05.

  (5-B) Daily Gold Withdrawals, either from your LORD Gold in Bank account
  or from the IGM Gold Bank account, are now limited to One Billion Gold
  per day. There are no exceptions. Once you have withdrawn 1 Billion
  Gold from either gold, no more gold withdrawals are allowed until the
  next game day. This is intended to curb possible abuses of the IGM.

  (6) Daily Gems Withdrawals are now limited to 100,000 per day.

  Regarding Transfers, they are not anonymous. The recipient is notified
  via LORD mail when Gold or Gems are transferred to their IGM accounts.
  They are told how much Gold/Gems was sent to them, along with the
  LORD Name of the player who sent the transfers.

  Additional IGM code has been added to protect LORD Gold in Hand and
  LORD Gold in Bank from going negative, during an Gold Withdrawal from
  the IGM Gold account, or during Gold Withdrawal from LORD Bank account.
  This glitch was discovered in September 2005 by Daryl Stout in KLBank v1.30
  and is now taken care of.
  =========================================================================

  Flirting with NPCs, Gordon and Samantha: Enabled 10/16/2005.
  ----------------------------------------------------------------
  Limits: You can only flirt with each NPC once per day. To flirt
  with both successfully, you have to change your Sex/Gender between
  visits. If male player tries to flirt with Gordon, or female player
  tries to flirt with Samantha, the player WILL be penalized.

  You will only be allowed to Flirt once per day. You get some Charm
  points if flirtation was successful. Occasionally, you may get Wisdom
  Points as well. If you make either NPC angry by engaging in naughty
  behavior, then you get punished.

  Maximum Wisdom gain allowed per day is 10 Million points.
  Maximum Charm gain allowed per day is limited to 120 points for
  male player, and 240 points for female players. By flirting with
  both NPCs, you can gain up to 360 charm points per day, maximum.

  If your Charm level is not enough to impress the NPC, they just
  ignore your clumsy attempts at flirtation.
  ----------------------------------------------------

  07/18/05: When I wrote up the Flirtation events code, I named the
  Cashier after my friend Gordon Lewicky, who died in British Columbia,
  in Canada, in early July 2005. Like my new SHOPEDIT utility for The
  Pawn Shop IGM and the new Doofus the Gnome LORD IGM, this is my way of
  keeping his memory alive each time someone uses the new programs or
  interacts with the cashier in this IGM.
  =====================================================================

  ==============================================================
  IGM Usage limits: Revised 10-14-2005. See prior notes for info
  regarding Limits put into place on October 13-14, 2005.
  ------------------------------------------------------------------

  1) My IGMs all honor Seth Robinson's request that IGM authors honor
  the boundaries he set up for each LORD stat. Those include not raising
  Gold beyond Two Billion.

  During work on the second development cycle, I decided that since LORD
  v4.07 beta allows you to play with up to 32,767 Gems, without any
  obvious problems, that I would allow players to withdraw Gems up to
  32,500.

  Some of my other IGMs are set to automatically reduce over-range Gems
  down to 32,000, since LORD does not do so automatically when you return
  from an IGM. It does do that during first visit of the day processing.

  The change in Gems handling was instituted on Jan. 25, 2005.

  2) IGM uses are limited to 50 visits per day. During IGM
  configuration, the end-user/sysop may use a smaller Visits/Day
  setting if they wish to do so. Use KITBANK INSTALL to do
  this during IGM installation, or KITBANK CONFIG to just change
  the Max Visits/Day setting.

  As of Jan. 24, 2005, the IGM uses/day limit has been increased
  from 10 to 50 visits/day, in response to request by Daryl Stout.

  *** Gems in Bank, as of July 2005, now may be up to 2 Billion.
  =============================================================

  Brief IGM usage summary. The Gem Trader, Peddler Jack, has
  a very sexy, young and beautiful daughter. Her beauty rivals
  that, nearly, of Lady Violet at the LORD Inn. She is the
  banker. Your only relationship with her is banking activity.
  At least at the current time.

  Note: As of Feb. 14, 2005, users of the LADY version of The
  Gem Trader, who need healing, get a special encounter with
  Samantha as they are leaving her father's camp. Requires
  usage of The Gem Trader script, version 1.30. Eventually
  this IGM will allow further interaction with Samantha by
  customers, perhaps including getting Laid by her.
  ===============================================

  No one is allowed to rob this bank. You may do deposits and
  withdrawals to the LORD gold stats, Gold in Hand and Gold in
  Bank. You may also do deposits and withdrawals to your IGM
  Gold Bank account. There is no limits on how many times a
  day you can do deposits and withdrawals, other than those that
  apply to the Gold in Hand and Gold in Bank LORD stats.

  The IGM will not allow a transaction that would cause either
  of the LORD Gold stats to exceed Two Billion. Users are allowed,
  assuming the sysop/end-user uses the maximum Visits/Day setting,
  to use the IGM up to 50 times each day, as of January 24, 2005.

  A short summary of Bank accounts status is available at IGM
  entry, from the IGM's main menu. It shows how much you have
  on account as to Gold and Gems, and how much Interest, if any,
  you received for the current day. Interest is paid ONLY on
  days that you actually use the IGM, and is paid only ONCE a day.

  All player's bank activity is shown at igm exit to the current
  player, so everyone will know who has been using the IGM.

  It is also recorded in the IGM Usage reports disk file, which can
  only be viewed by the sysop/end-user. (See KITBANK REPORT.)
  ===========================================================

  Configuration: If igm has not been installed yet, you must
  start IGM usage by executing KITBANK INSTALL. Otherwise, you
  may change the Sysop Handle info by using KITBANK CONFIG. No
  other fields are change-able via that command at this time.

  When you start using KLBank v1.32 Beta, or later beta, there
  are two new lines in the KITBANK.DAT file covering Gold and
  Gems Transfer sessions limits per day. Run KITBANK CONFIG
  command and configure both of the new variables, if you have
  not already done so.  {paragraph added 10/14/05}
  ---------------------------------------------

  Save_Player_Data Summary Report:  {Added 02/05/05}
  --------------------------------
  In normal IGM maintenance, someone will have used the IGM on a
  previous day and left Gold and/or Gems on deposit. The IGM
  reads each player record from the old database and creates
  an updated database using player records that meet one of
  the following conditions. It also computes and processes
  the amount of Gold Interest the INCOMING, CURRENT player
  is entitled to, if they have Gold on account.

  1) A new record is written if the current player is not in
  the old database. 2) The player records for all players
  that are in the old database with Gold and/or Gems on account
  are written to the new player database file.

  At the end of the database recreation process, the IGM will
  show a short summary of how many player records were processed
  from the old database, and how many records were written to
  the new database file. Effective Feb. 05, 2005.
  ==================================================================

  Update from pre-v1.00 Beta, Version 1.00, or version 1.20:
  ================================================
  1) Obtain KLBANK13.ZIP either from me via Email, or from one
  of my primary distribution sources. Those are as follows:

  (a) the LordApps directory via my LordApps Page, LORD IGMs Page,
		and Revamped Trentsoft IGMs Page, which are all parts of
		the Castle Camelot site.

  (b) The LORD IGMs Page on my Kiteria's Korner! web-site.
         It is updated about four times a year, so is often not
         fully up-to-date.

  (c) The LORD Archives files area of the Fidotel BBS.
  (d) The NightfallGames.com server's IGMs directory.
  (e) The Castle Camelot LordNews FDN site (and mirror sites
		that various BBS's have set up of the LordNews FDN.)
  --------------------------------------------------------

  This are the PRIMARY download links for the IGM:

  http://www.fidotel.com/public/camelot/Lordapps/klbank13.zip

  OR http://www.filegate.net/camelot/lordfile/klbank13.zip
  ===========================================================

  2) Unzip all files from KLBANK13.zip into your KitBank IGM
  Directory, using overwrite with new files mode. If you use
  PKUNZIP or WZZIP's command-line utility, use the -N parameter,
  like this:

  pkunzip -n KLBANK13

  wzunzip -n KLBANK13

  -- Run either command from directory you will be using the IGM from.

  ***** If you are using KLBAnk v1.32+, then you are to use BANKWORK.ZIP
  instead of KLBANK13.ZIP. Likewise, be sure that you are using KLBEdit
  v1.05+, which is distributed inside KLB-EDIT.ZIP and BANKWORK.ZIP during
  beta development cycle.  ************

  3) Like Version 1.20, Version 1.30 does not contain any changes in the
  player database structure, so no one needs to deal with player database
  file glitches.

  ****** Version 1.32+ DOES have player database format changes, therefore
  the bankplay.dat and kitbank.dat files used by version 1.30 should NEVER
  be used with the current IGM betas. *****

  If you do encounter any RunTime Error messages, let me know, and I'll
  give you more detailed assistance via email. That concludes the
  Update Notes section.
  ============================================================

  IGM Installation Notes:

  * Obtain copy of KLBank13.zip from me via email, or download
	 it from one of several download source sites:

  http://www.fidotel.com/public/camelot/LordApps/klbank13.zip

  ***** During October 2005 and later months, everyone using this IGM
  must use the current betas of KITBANK.EXE and KLBEDIT.EXE if you
  want technical support. I no longer support v1.30 of the IGM
  or v1.00 of KLBEdit, since both are no longer the most current version
  in actual development.  ******

  http://www.fidotel.com/public/camelot/IGM-Beta/bankwork.zip

  ***** Always get the archive from me directly via Email if you want to be
  sure you have the most current program files. I only do web-site
  updates about 1-2 times a week, so online archives of LORD beta apps
  are usually NOT the most current versions available. *****
  ---------------------------------------------------------

  1) Unzip KLBank13.zip's files into an IGM sub-directory under
  your LORD game. I suggest using KitBank for directory name.

  Always use over-write mode so that you will get the most up-to-date
  files from the distribution (or beta) archive.

  As already noted, use BANKWORK.ZIP files while the IGM is in beta development.

  2) At your DOS Prompt, type KITBANK INSTALL and press the ENTER
  key. That will execute the IGM's installation module. Follow
  the on-screen dialog box prompts and answer each one.

  During installation process, you are asked in dialog boxes, to
  specify the following data fields.

  * Line 1 is Sysop Name: This is your FIRST and LAST names.
  * Line 2 is BBS/Web-Site Name. If you don't have a BBS or
	 web-site, just pick a suitable name.
  * Line 3 is the directory path to where your LORD game is.
  * Line 4 is the directory path to where you are installing the IGM.
	 This is where LORD will look when it is told to execute the IGM.
  * Line 5 is your Sysop Handle. This is the name of your primary
	 LORD character.
  * Line 6 is Max Visits/Day. The IGM will not allow uses beyond
	 50 visits each day, under any circumstance.

  * Lines 7 and 8 control usage of Gold Transfers and Gems Transfers
  each day. They can only be set in 0-50 data range. Both new entries
  were added on Oct. 13th, 2005.

  Data requirements. You may NOT use LORD color codes with any
  of the data fields. The IGM will automatically upper-case the
  Lord Path and IGM Path lines. In some cases, the IGM needs to
  know who the Sysop User is, and it uses the Sysop Handle field
  for that purpose. Sysop Handle may not exceed 20 spaces in length.

  Max Visits/Day, Gems Transfers/Day, and Gold Transfers/Day ALL
  must be an integer number. All three are limited to max values of 50.

  Basically, regarding Sysop Name and BBS Name, they will look best
  when displayed on-screen during IGM usage, if you keep them at or
  below 40 spaces in length.

  This is a BBS door game, so it uses standard BBS terminology.

  -------------------------
  You are asked whether you want to include version number data
  in the IGM entry lines that will be written to LORD's 3rdparty.dat
  file - which is more fully explained in another section of this file.

  The prompt asks you to choose YES or NO. Pressing the ENTER key
  automatically is a YES response. You can use a computer mouse to
  select YES or NO as well. The IGM itself, in LORD play, does not
  interact in any way with a mouse.

  -------------------------
  Once installation is completed, if you use the LordMenu utility,
  remember to update its data files. Visually verify your
  3rdparty.dat file just to be sure it is updated properly as well.

  Then start playing the IGM when you start Lord the next time.
  ==============================================================

  Three other distribution sources for this IGM are:

  * http://www.filegate.net/camelot/lordfile/klbank13.zip

  * http://www.nightfallgames.com/files - See the LORD IGMs
	 directory.

  * If you are a member of the Fidotel BBS, then you can
    access backups of my current LORD apps betas from there also.
    All official releases of my LORD apps are always posted there.
  --------------------------------------------------------

  IGM Usage Reports: Providing that you have a BankPlay.dat
  file, which is created/updated with each IGM usage, you can
  run KITBANK REPORT to create or update the Bank-use.txt usage
  report disk file. There are THREE usage reports as of 10/14/2005.

  The first report shows each user's LORD Name, Gold Deposits,
  Gold Withdrawals, IGM Gold Bank balance, and # of Visits made.

  The second report shows player's Lord Name, Gold Interest, Gems
  Deposits, and Gems Withdrawals, if any, that the listed players
  received during the current day's IGM usages. It also lists
  the LORD player number for each player who uses the igm each day.

  The third report covers Gems Transfers/Day, Total Gems Transfers/Day,
  Gold Transfers/Day, Total Gold Transfers/Day, Charm Points, and
  Wisdom Points.

  ** As of 10/14/05, I have not updated the on-screen usage Reports
  to generate the third usage report, but will do so shortly.

  The Usage reports are automatically updated during IGM exit
  process for every user, and are displayed on-screen for all
  users during IGM exit process.

  Simple Configuration updates:  {revised 10/14/05}
  -----------------------------
  Run KITBANK CONFIG, and the program will let you change
  the Sysop Handle, Max Visits/Day, Gems Transfers/Day,
  and Gold Transfers/Day settings.

  ---------------------------------------------
  Un-Installation: Run KITBANK REMOVE, and follow all on-screen
  commands. IGM statements will be removed from 3rdparty.dat file,
  and an IGM Removal notice is written to LORD's lognow.txt file.

  Deletion of some IGM data files is left up to the user to do.

  Since I have no way of knowing who is un-installing the IGM, and
  then re-installing it, the IGM does not automatically delete all
  of the data files that it uses.

3.0  FILES:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
The following files are included within the KITERIA'S LORD BANK
archive:

FILE_ID.DIZ  - Description file (KitBank.diz)
KitBank.DIZ - backup copy of archive identifier for BBS usage.
KitBank EXE - KITERIA'S LORD BANK IGM. Setup is included inside.
KitBank TXT - Gem Trader docs - this file.

KLBEDIT.EXE - Kiteria's Lord Bank Player Editor utility. v1.05 Beta.
KLBEDIT.TXT - Separate docs file for KLBEDIT.
KLBEDIT.DIZ - Separate BBS DIZ file for KLBEDIT.

CCL-APPS.TXT - Info on all of my LORD Programming projects.
CCL-PROJ.TXT - Info on my upcoming LORD project plans through January 2006.

CONVBANK.EXE - Player Database Conversion Utility, v1.00.
               Use ONLY to convert v1.30 IGM database to current database format.
               See 0.75 documentation section for full details.
CONVBANK.TXT - Separate docs file for CONVBANK.EXE utility.

* KitBank.dat - IGM Configuration file. Contains Sysop's Real Name,
              BBS/web-site Name, Lord Path, IGM Path, Sysop Handle (LORD
              name of your primary character), Max Visits/Day, Max Gold
              Transfers/Day, and Max Gems Transfers/Day. As of 10-13-2005.

* BankTime.dat - Used to keep track of change in Day, Month or
                Year, so IGM knows internally when to reset its data
                files for a new day's game usage. (Binary file)

* BankPlay.dat - IGM Player Database. Binary file. Tracks all
                activity on daily basis of the IGM's users. Even if a
                player has not used the igm that day, they will have a
                database record if they have Gold/Gems on account.

* Bank-Use.TXT - IGM Usage Reports disk file. Shows activity by
                players for current day. Usage report #1 displays Lord
                Name, Deposits and Withdrawals to Gold Bank account, Bank
                Gold balance, and Visits counter data. Usage report #2
                shows Gems Deposits and Withdrawals, Bank Gems balance,
                Gold Interest, and Player Number data.

                File is created/updated automatically with each IGM use
                in LORD, -- provided IGM does not terminate due to user
                inactivity -- or when end-user/sysop uses the KITBANK
                REPORT command.

                Contains three Usage reports as of 10-14-2005. Report #3
                covers usage of Gems Transfers, Gold Transfers, and
                Charm/Wisdom changes from the new Flirting events.

==================================================
Do NOT ever delete INFO files manually while either an IGM is
running, or while LORD itself is running. Similarly, do not
mess with any OUT files that apply to Kiteria's Lord Bank while the
IGM is running.

Changes made to a player's stats using KLBEDIT will not always be
recognized by the IGM, if the utility is used while someone is
inside the IGM in a LORD game session. So only use KLBEDIT while
you are NOT running LORD.

==================================================
Kiteria's LORD Bank Player Editor Files:  {Added 07/15/05}

  KLBEDIT.EXE - The Player Editor for this IGM.

  * KLBEDIT.CFG - The Player Editor configuration file.
                  Created first time you use the editor.
====================================================================

4.0  3rdparty.dat IGM entry Notes:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Minus LORD color codes, which I don't always use myself, this is
what the IGM command lines in 3rdparty.dat should look like.
Each person installs IGMs their own way, so your directory path
will usually be different:

C:\INTERNET\LORD\KITBANK\KITBANK.EXE /N* /GC:\INTERNET\LORD
Kiteria's LORD Bank v1.45 Beta -- WITHOUT color codes

'`!Kiteria''s LORD Bank `0v1.45 Beta'; -- WITH default color codes.

(The actual description entry in 3rdparty.dat will contain
LORD color codes. I used to not like using them at all for
awhile, then I got used to them. But I tend to change how
they look from time to time. The codes can be changed to
your own preference. That is, you can change them in 3rdparty.dat.)

You can specify during IGM Installation whether the IGM Name
line includes the version data, or omits it.

LORD Color Codes Chart: Just in case anyone is interested.
======================

`1 ; Dark Blue     `2 ; Dark Green     `3 ; Dark Cyan
`4 ; Magenta       `5 ; Dark Violet    `6 ; Brown
`7 ; Lt. Grey      `8 ; Dark Grey      `9 ; Light Blue
`0 ; Lt. Green     `! ; Lt. Cyan       `@ ; Lt. Magenta
`# ; Lt. Violet    `$ ; Yellow         `% ; White

Advisory note: Keep in mind that LORD IGMs display data against
a black background. Use dark colors with caution, since user
will possibly be unable to read them on-screen. "Lt." stands
for Light. Magenta is a dark Red color. Lt. Magenta can be
thought of as a Bright Red color.

----------------------------------------------------------
4.5   IGM Usage Notes:
------------------
While using this IGM, you MAY not rename any of the program or
data files. Doing so can cause the program to crash or
otherwise not work properly.

KITBank.exe, BankPlay.dat, BankTime.dat - they may NOT
be tampered with in any way, or the program will not work.

No tampering with KLBEDIT.EXE is allowed either. Do not
ever try to run either program with them write-protected,
or with the IGM config files - kitbank.dat or klbedit.cfg -
write-protected. That can and WILL cause the programs to
not work properly, and they will crash as a result.

KitBank.dat: Under NO circumstance may you use LORD color
codes in this file. File can be edited manually if you
need to change something. It is best to make changes via
the KITBANK INSTALL or KITBANK CONFIG commands.

BANK-USE.TXT: Also should not EVER contain LORD color codes.
I've never found a way to place color codes in a text file
and have them get translated into actual colors.

I reserve the right to not provide technical support to
anyone who admits to violating the IGM usage directions.
===============================================================

Special Privileges?: There are none. The IGM does not care if
you have a Horse, Fairy, or if you are Single or Married. It
also does not care if you are a Death Knight, Magician, or Thief.

There are some IGMs that have special code that executes when you
are the "right" skill class, but this is not one of that type.

One example: The Love Shack II has additional adventures in the
Massage Parlor that only work if you are a Thief. Those were
in the original IGM by Trevor Herndon, which I have reproduced
as best as I could in 2004 and 2005 development of the IGM.
==========================================================

  LordMenu information: To acquire LordMenu v1.30 LORD utility, contact
  me via Email or use the following Internet URL address.

  Lloyd Hannesson is no longer doing LORD programming, and is not
  currently responding to email about LORD programs any more.

  Michael Preslar is working on fixing the problem with LordMenu's
  3rdalt.txt file which applies to LORD and LORD/32 Beta in regards
  to ANSI data strings. This problem is applicable to ALL programs
  created using Turbo Pascal or Borland Pascal which use ANSI data strings.

  LordMenu v1.30 may be downloaded via web browser from my Camelot
  LordNews FDN web-site:
       http://www.filegate.net/camelot/lordfile/lrdmnu13.zip

  It is also available from various other sources on the Internet.

  LordMenu was created by Robert Fogt, and turned over through me
  to Lloyd in early 2002. Who USED to provide support for it. But
  he ceased doing so in summer 2005. At the current time, there
  has not been a resolution to the 3rdalt.txt problem, which can
  occur with ALL version of DOS LORD.

  As of Fall 2005, when LORD v4.07 beta stopped working with the
  3rdalt.txt files, LordMenu is an unsupported LORD utility program.

  If LordMenu is ever fixed so that it is once again fully compatible
  with LORD, its support and development will be handled by me, or
  by Michael Preslar possibly. End of 01-20-2006 notes section.
===============================================================

REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Any version of LORD that supports IGMs. Testing was done
	  with versions 3.55 through v4.07 beta.

  2. DOS 6.x or later versions. Probably works with DOS v3.xx forward
	  as well, but I can't say for sure.

  3. IGM is usable whether LORD is registered or not.

Notes about how igm recognizes a player. It uses the LORD Real Name field
for this purpose. If for any reason, you change a player's LORD Real Name,
the IGM will NOT recognize that player as being a prior user. If a change
has occurred in player's LORD Name or Player Number between IGM uses, the
IGM updates its player database record with the correct values for those
two LORD stats during the IGM entry process.  {10/14/2005}
========================================================================

TESTING:
--------
	 KITERIA'S LORD BANK LORD IGM is tested under LORD v4.07 beta
	 by myself, and with earlier LORD versions by various friends.

	 Testing has been done using all versions of Microsoft Windows,
	 starting with Windows 95, and ending with Windows XP, using
	 current v4.0x versions of Legend of the Red Dragon.

	 All of my personal IGM testing since July 2004 has been
	 entirely done with Microsoft Windows XP.

in flux, and not fully tested. If you have questions, you
should contact me.
======================================================================

6.0  FEATURES:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
    1) You may view your LORD stats from various IGM section menus.

    2) A quick summary is provided at IGM entry of your bank accounts.

    3) You can deposit/withdraw Gold between LORD and the IGM.
       Subject to the several limits regarding Gold.

    4) You can deposit/withdraw Gems between LORD and the IGM.
       Subject to IGM's limit of 1 Million gems in the IGM Gems account,
       and LORD's limit of 32,767 Gems in Hand. The latter amount is
       a Pascal limit. The actual IGM uses a limit for Gems Withdrawals
       of 32,500, and 32,000 for Gems Deposits.

    5) The end-user/sysop can view a summary of IGM activity off-line,
       outside of LORD IGM play, by reading the BANK-USE.TXT data file.

       Everyone gets to view the on-screen IGM Usage Reports as they
       are leaving the IGM to return to LORD. There are three report
       screens which cover all Gold and Gems banking activities. The
       third report covers Gold Transfers, Gems Transfers, and Flirting
       event usage.

    6) The first player of the day will have a short wait during IGM
       entry while the IGM processes the previous day's player database,
       determines who has Gold or Gems on account, and creates a new
       player database. Then the IGM does normal maintenance work.

    7) IGM usage is limited to 50 times per day maximum. If the sysop
       sets the IGM up to use a value of 10, then the IGM won't work
       beyond your tenth visit that game day.

    8) As of Jan. 24, 2005, the IGM will automatically fix any
       negative LORD stats that you enter it with. IGM will
       notify user of any stats fixes that are made on-screen.

    9) As of Oct. 13, 2005, several over-range LORD stats are also
       automatically repaired if any are detected during either IGM
       entry or IGM exit. Currently, every numeric LORD stat is
       scanned to see if it is inside boundary limits created by
       Seth Robinson.

    10) 01/25/05: IGM update notes:
        a) The Usage reports now use Commas in the disk file report
        for the Gold amounts in Report #1, and for the Gems and Gold
        Interest amounts in Report #2.

        b) Trying to deposit Gold or Gems, when you have none, now
        produces a short message and terminates the deposit request.

        c) Since Lord 4.07 beta, and I think earlier versions of LORD,
        tolerate your having over 32,000 Gems, I've reconfigured the
        IGM to allow Gems withdrawals of up to 32,500 gems per IGM visit.

7.0  SPECIAL THANKS TO:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Gordon Lewicky - He taught me most of what I know about LADY Script
         programming, and has done diagnostic work on all of
         my complex LADY Scripts when they had glitches. Gordon
         died in early July 2005. He will be missed by many
         people who were his friends.

Gary Hartzell - For giving me feedback, support, and friendship.
         And especially for encouraging me to become an LORD
         IGMs author when I was considering it in May 2002.

Jason Brown - For entrusting me with his LORD IGMs and utilities
         as their co-author, maintainer, and updater.
         Also for several long years of LORD friendship.

Charlie Wardick - My primary programming teacher. For over a year
         of training in how to write LADY scripts in a
         logical manner, and then in relearning Pascal
         language and usage of Turbo/Borland Pascal.

Chris MacPherson, Kenneth Padgett - Chris, for turning over his
         Pawn Shop IGM to me. Kenneth, for turning over
         his Hiding In the Shadows igm to me.

Stephen Gibbs - For trustworthy assistance in testing this IGM,
         and debugging BBS usage glitches in the Hiding in
         the Shadows IGM for me and Kenneth. Previously has
         provided great assistance in pointing out problems
         in my Gem Trader IGM as well in prior years.

And to all of my other friends who've gone through my evolution
as a LORD games programmer since February 2002, by testing my new
Lady scripts, and LORD IGM/utility beta compilations, over those
many months. Oh yeah, and most of all, for putting up with my
tendency to write occasionally LONG email messages to them <G>.

8.0  DEDICATIONS:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
This IGM was specifically created for dedication to my old friend
Suzanne Franklin, whose Lord nickname is Kiteria. I thought it
was time that she had an IGM named after her.

Otherwise the IGM is dedicated to all of my close LORD friends.

The KLBEDIT.EXE utility is dedicated to Daryl Stout.

11.0  SUMMARY
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Your comments, questions, suggestions are welcome and appreciated. I'd
like to know that people are actually using my IGM. :) I've put a lot
of work into it and I hope it is appreciated.

Postal contact info. You can send snail mail to me at:
1111 Berenice Street, Tuscumbia, AL 35674-3503

If outside the United States, add "United States of America"
or "USA" to the address. The state name is Alabama if you
wish to spell it out.

I lost interest in ICQ in 2004, and have not used it in several
months. So I have removed my ICQ contact information from this file.

IGM Crashes: If you experience a crash while using the IGM,
please send me a capture log of your BBS session which most
comm programs and Telnet clients are able to generate. Please
send it in a .zip file archive, made using Winzip, PKzip or some
other ZIP-compatible utility. Send JPG snapshots of IGM crash
details, and/or the zipped up data files, to one of my email
addresses.

Primary addresses, checked daily:  gtidmore@hiwaay.net,
ktidmore@hiwaay.net.  Secondary address, checked daily:
donald.tidmore@fidotel.com.  Primary address, checked
occasionally, used mostly for newsletters and non-Lord interests
is donald.tidmore@usa.net.

Copies of your LORD games play*.dat files, lognow.txt/logold.txt
files, and the LORD error.log file may also be of use to me in
finding source of any IGM crashes. So consider zipping those up
also, and sending them to me.

Since I do not operate a BBS, I can not personally check on
BBS usage issues, but I have a few Lord friends who will do that
for me, such as Stephen Gibbs and Daryl Stout.

I hope that anyone using this IGM finds it to be of value to
you, and to your BBS users, if applicable. Donald.
