                            NEW IN VERSION 2

The program now has a modifyable data file that will make certain characters
unpassable. The defaults include letters and certain characters (including
the forest character and rocky character, lines, and more). Be sure to check
the map in L2CFG to make sure everything that is hard should be hard and
vice versa.

                             HOW TO USE THIS

Simple: draw your ansi in whatever you want, and save it as BINARY format.
(TheDraw is a great ansi editor that will save it in this format). Then,
run the converter on it. It will make a .DAT file that you can then import
from in the World Editor. Fabulous! Note that LORD 2 screens are 20x80,
anything more will be ignored, anything less will make a very strange and
defunct map.

                                 SYNTAX

BIN2DATA file [/NOHARD]

File should not have an extension. BIN2DATA will add the extension .BIN
onto the file, open it, and output to file with the added extension .DAT.
To import this into LORD 2, load up L2CFG, select the world editor, choose
a map square to edit, hit 'L' (uppercase), type in the filename, and the
record number is always 1.

Add the command /NOHARD and no hard blocks will be made. Otherwise,
BIN2DATA.DAT will be loaded, and baised on the contents of that file certain
characters will be made "Unpassable".

That's it!

Comments, suggestions, and email is ALWAYS welcome. eviljim@geocities.com.
